Week 10 College Football Picks

Well I went 2-2 for my second straight week as my record stands at an unimpressive 26-23 overall.  Let’s start with a Big 10 rivalry game in East Lansing, Michigan.

#21 Michigan at #22 Michigan State

(21) Michigan

(6-1, 2-1 Big Ten)

(22) Michigan State

(7-1, 4-0 Big Ten)

Both have only one loss so this game is extremely critical because it could determine who represents the Legends Division in the Big 10 Title game.  This will definitely be interesting because the Wolverines rank 8th overall in scoring offense and the Spartans have one of the nation’s stingiest defenses.  Even though MSU has won 4 of the last 5, expect the Wolverines to be too much for Sparty in this one.  I don’t trust their quarterback, plus it is Michigan State 😉

My Pick:  #21 Michigan

#18 Oklahoma State at #15 Texas Tech

(18) Oklahoma State

(6-1, 3-1 Big 12)

(15) Texas Tech

(7-1, 4-1 Big 12)

Oklahoma took Texas Tech down to Earth a little last week, while Oklahoma State has put an embarrassing loss to West Virginia behind them.  Oklahoma State has won four in a row against the Red Raiders, and they are excellent at creating turnovers.  Considering how often they turned the ball over against the Sooners, this looks like a recipe for disaster.  Expect a shootout, but don’t expect a Texas Tech win.

My Pick: #18 Oklahoma State

#7 Miami (FL) at #3 Florida State

(7) Miami (FL)

(7-0, 3-0 ACC)

(3) Florida State

(7-0, 5-0 ACC)

You would be foolish to bet that Florida State will cover the point spread Vegas had for this game (21 Points).  Miami should keep pace, but I can’t get that blowout win over Clemson out of my head.  Florida State is definitely the best team in ACC, and they are going to affirm that when College Gameday visits Tallahassee.

My Pick:  #3 Florida State

Stay Classy Everyone!
