Well what do you know I actually did well in football this week. I went 3-1 with my only loss being the delusion that Andrew Luck could beat Tom Brady and the New England Patriots at home. Denver gets a shot at them this week, but being a Seattle fan and all I think I will have my eye on another game tomorrow. Here’s my take on the action.
Patriots at Broncos (AFC Title Game)

This isn’t just for a trip to the Super Bowl. This is a battle for one’s legacy as well. Tom Brady and Peyton Manning may very well be battling each other for the last time in the Playoffs. Brady got the better of Manning in this season’s meeting in Foxborough, but he has to travel to Denver now. Looking at the talent on both team’s I’ve got to give a slight edge to Denver. They’re definitely going to be a lot wiser after letting that 24-0 halftime lead slip away earlier in the season. Denver is not going to collapse anytime soon, and while Manning hasn’t been able to win as much of the big games as Brady has, he will prove to be too much for both him and the rest of his cohorts.
My Pick: Broncos
49ers at Seahawks (NFC Title Game)

This is the other big one. A lot of people are stating that this might be the best rivalry in the NFL. Seattle has traditionally waxed San Francisco at home, but the Niners have won two straight road playoff games in some pretty harsh environments. It definitely won’t be a repeat of that blowout in Week 2, but given the energy of the 12th Man I definitely think the Seahawks have the edge here. This is no ordinary place to play in.
My Pick: Seahawks
My Record (Playoffs): 4-4
Stay Classy Everyone!
