LONG LIVE THE POPEYE’S BAHAMA BOWL

Western Kentucky won the inaugural Popeye’s Bahama Bowl, 49-48. It was one of the craziest football games that I have ever seen. The Hilltopers led the game 42-14 at the half, and only scored one touchdown in the third quarter. Central Michigan not only controlled the fourth quarter, they dominated it, to pull within one touchdown.

Then this happened with one second left on the clock.

The Chippewas went for the two point conversion, and the win, instead of kicking the point after to tie the game up. Quarterback Cooper Rush threw up a end zone fade to his left, that fell harmlessly to the ground…handing the Hilltoppers the victory.

College bowl season is the best.
