The 2015 College Football season is officially here.

It all built up to the #20 ranked Wisconsin Badgers playing the #3 ranked Alabama Crimson Tide in the Saturday Night Football opener in AT&T Stadium.

Alabama won this in a laugher as running back David Henry’s three rushing touchdowns paved the way for a 35-17 Crimson Tide victory.  Henry added 147 yards on the ground, while first year starting quarterback Jake Coker threw for 213 yards as well as a 17 yard strike to receiver Robert Foster to break a 7-7 tie.

Henry proved yesterday that he deserves to be mentioned among names of great Alabama running backs such as Mark Ingram, Trent Richardson, and T.J. Yeldon.  He ran for 990 yards and 11 touchdowns last year.  Perhaps this game cemented him as a Heisman candidate?!

Wisconsin quarterback Joel Stave finished the game with 228 passing yards to go with two touchdowns and an interception, but it was all for naught as the first game of the Paul Chryst era started with a loss.

There’s still a lot of questions left to be answered, but one thing’s for sure, Bama is back, maybe with a vengeance.
