Trailing by two points with 45 seconds left in the fourth quarter, Eastern Washington (2-1) lined up for a 40-yard field goal go ahead field goal. Instead holder Reilly Hennessey threw a dime to Beau Byrus for 43-yards and the go ahead touchdown.

While the Eagles two point attempt failed, they had successfully put a ton of pressure on the UNI offense. The Panthers needed to score a touchdown to win.
Instead, the Panthers fumbled the ball on the first play of the insuing drive. Eastern recovered the football and ran out the clock for their second victory of the season.
