What I Thought was going to Happen: The Denver Broncos were going to be all over the San Diego Chargers and escape with a 5-1 record. Based off of the Chargers history I expected nothing less. San Diego had blown a lot of games in the fourth quarter already this season and that felt like a logical decision.
What Actually Happened: Apparently Philip Rivers knows how to throw the football. He passed Dan Fouts for the Chargers career passing record. At the rate he’s going at, Rivers will get into the Hall of Fame, provided he wins at least a ring or two. Huge upset, provided the Oakland Raiders win on Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs (which I’m predicting) they will now have control over the AFC West.
Here are the rest of the games besides Sunday Night (Colts/Texans) and Monday Night (Jets/Cardinals)
Patriots over Bengals
Seahawks over Falcons
Bills over 49ers
Raiders over Chiefs
Titans over Browns
Jaguars over Bears
Cowboys over Packers
Rams over Lions
Panthers over Saints
Eagles over Redskins
Giants over Ravens
Steelers over Dolphins
Both the undefeated Minnesota Vikings and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have byes this week. I’m 45-33 on the young season. College stuff will be up soon.
