Welcome to another exciting Thursday Night of NFL football. I think this may be another blowout, but I was wrong last week. Let’s get started.

How Chicago Wins: Pray that a bolt of lightning strikes Aaron Rodgers. Just kidding, but to have a chance in this one Brian Hoyer needs to play the game of his life, and get the ball to star receiver Alshon Jeffrey. As long as the Bears defense isn’t paper-thin like it has been in the past they may pull this off.
How Green Bay Wins: Do what worked before. Throw with Aaron Rodgers, run with Eddie Lacy. Take advantage of all the Chicago turnovers you can get, and gain some ground in the NFC Wild Card race since the division it looks like my be Minnesota’s to lose. Lambeau Field also is a great home-field advantage.
The Bottom Line: Even with a healthy Jay Cutler I wouldn’t have picked the Bears in this one. Packers win by at least 10 (though I have been wrong before (see last week, Broncos versus Chargers).
I am 53-39 so far this year. Here are the rest of this week’s picks (minus Seahawks/Cardinals and Texans/Broncos). Panthers and Cowboys both have byes this week.
Giants over Rams
Buccaneers over 49ers
Falcons over Chargers
Chiefs over Saints
Raiders over Jaguars
Vikings over Eagles
Lions over Redskins
Patriots over Steelers
Bengals over Browns
Ravens over Jets
Colts over Titans
Bills over Dolphins
