Rams/Seahawks Thursday Night Preview

Sorry it took so long, I finally got internet set up at my place.  I’m 128-78-2 on the year.  Let’s preview a Thursday Night matchup between the Los Angeles Rams and the Seattle Seahawks.

5:25 PM PT NBC SEA -16.0

Rams

(4-9, 3-4 away)

4-9

Seahawks

(8-4-1, 6-0 Home)

How Los Angeles Wins:  Todd Gurley gets going early, and Jared Goff doesn’t play like a rookie.  If Goff is able to get the ball to Kenny Britt and if other playmakers on the Rams step up they might just be able to pull off the upset, however unlikely that may be.

How Seattle Wins:  They put last week’s embarrassing 38-10 loss at Green Bay to rest.  Russell Wilson plays like his normal self, Thomas Rawls gets going, and the 12th Man goes out in force to cheer on their team.  They are 16 point favorites for a reason.

The Bottom Line:  I’m not going against Seattle at home, especially if they’re favored by 16.  Seahawks may not cover the spread, but tomorrow they will clinch the division.  Perhaps maybe a first round bye is still in the cards.

Here is the rest of the Week 15 picks.
