Jose Altuve likes the playoffs very much, thank you

Jose Altuve is playing in his first MLB playoff game in Houston’s divisional game against Boston on Wednesday night; and the second basemen has hit three dingers as the Astros’ have raced out to an 8-2 lead through eight innings.

Altuve became the ninth player in MLB history to hit three home runs in a playoff game, and is 3-4 at press time. Those three home were all solo shots, but they’ve been a difference maker for Houston.

There has been significant criticism leveled at Red Sox manager John Farrell because he left stater Chris Sale in through the sixth inning, especially since Houston had scored five runs in the preceding five innings.
