Rodgers’ shoulder injury has already proved costly for Green Bay

Early in the first quarter Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers went down with an apparent shoulder injury, before being carted off of the sideline to the locker room. The veteran’s return is questionable according to the team.

Backup Brett Hundley is now under center and he’s not playing that well early on as his first pass attempt was intercepted when it bounced off his receivers hands. Minnesota would take over at the Packers’ 42-yard line then punch it into the end zone two plays later to give the Vikings a 7-0 lead at the start of the second quarter.

Rodgers hadn’t been playing that well before the injury as the Packers offensive line struggled to pick up blocks against the creative blitzes that the Vikings run. It’s going to be a long day for Hundley behind that offensive line as well.
