While Jose Altuve and Evan Gattis’ respective solo shots have given Houston a 2-0 lead through four and a third innings, it’s been a pair of defensive plays that have been the highlights from the seventh game of the American League Championship Series.
In the bottom of the second inning, Carlos Correa put a charge into a fastball in the middle of the play from CC Sabathia. But right fielder Aaron Judge would perfectly time the leap at the wall to come up with the catch and rob the shortstop of a home run.

Charlie Morton would start off the top of the fifth by giving up a double to Greg Bird, before striking out Starlin Castro and walking Aaron Hicks. Todd Fraiser would slap a slow roller towards Alex Bergman, whom corralled the ball before tossing a dart to home plate that beat Bird. Gattis would expertly field the ball while placing his glove inbetween New York’s first basemen and pay dirt.
