Carson Palmer heads to locker room after monster hit

Arizona Cardinals’ quarterback Carson Palmer is headed to the locker room after taking a monster hit against the Los Angeles Rams in London.

Palmer was hit as he threw the ball late in the second quarter, and he was slow to get up off of the turf. When he was on the sideline, he was favoring his left wrist and was seen backing away from the trainers whenever they got to close to it. Drew Stanton is now in for Arizona with its starter in the locker room.

The Rams picked off the pass on the play when Palmer was hurt, and running Todd Gurley would punch it in on their first play from scrimmage after the interception. Los Angeles has a 13-0 lead at the two-minute warning.
