Healy’s walk-off gets Seinfeld treatment

The Seattle Mariners overcame a 4-0 deficit through the seventh inning to beat the California Angels on 90’s night 9-8 at Safeco Field in Seattle, Wash. on Saturday night. Ryon Healy, who’s been red hot, since coming off the DL hit the walk off single in the 11th inning and the Mariners’ social media team couldn’t help but give it the Seinfeld treatment on Twitter.

Healy’s single game in the second pitch of the at bat which was high and inside, just off of his hands.

But he managed to get enough of the bat on it to ground the ball down the third base line and of of Angels third baseman Zack Cozart.

Seager was on second after hitting a line drive that sailed between center fielder Mike Trout and right fielder Chris Young that scored Robinson Cano from first to tie the game and to set-up the game winner.

In nine days since coming off of the DL, Healy has hit .333/.333/.684 with a wRC+ of 180 and been worth .4 wins in 36 plate appearances.
