Podcast: One hell of a week for WSU basketball

The men’s program scored its first post season win since this blog and podcast was in its infancy; while the women’s program is headed off to Raleigh, N.C. for its second straight NCAA tournament appearance. It’s been one hell of a week for the Cougars and we sat down to discuss it.

We’re both really excited, and optimistic, about the Cougar women’s chances at picking up the programs first ever win in the NCAA Tournament. Yes, Ayoka Lee is slightly terrifying but there isn’t a ton of other scoring options on Kansas State’s roster — but their defense is impressive. As for the men’s team, that win over Santa Clara left us feeling like they could make a deep run in the NIT and build a ton of momentum headed into the 2022-23 season.

But the majority of the podcast is dedicated to the upcoming MLB season. The M’s made one hell of a trade that exceeded my expectations and the Dodgers brought back a franchise legend. Also, we take a brief look at some of the upcoming rule changes for Major League Baseball and give our thoughts on them.

This is one of the few times you’re going to get two Podcast in a week — the NIT preview with Kyle Smith was the exception to the rule.
