Oregon is back in the top 25, WSU & OSU receive votes

After an absolute beatdown of a (previously ranked) top 15 FCS program, the Oregon Ducks have found themselves back in the AP and coaches polls. Meanwhile the Washington State Cougars earned votes in both after their impressive upset win at Wisconsin.

The Ducks sit at No. 25 in the AP poll and No. 24 in the coaches poll after they opened up a can of whoop ass on Eastern Washington. It’s clear the voters haven’t forgiven them for their poor performance against Georgia in week one. Oregon’s reappearance in both polls can be based off of the complete and utter blood bath that was week two as both Notre Dame and Wisconsin dropped out of the polls following their losses — Texas A&M is somehow hanging in at No. 24 and 22 respectively.

As for the rest of the Pac-12, the Utes held steady in the coaches poll at No. 15 while they dropped down to No. 14 in the AP poll despite the win; the AP voters for some fucking reason decided to move Miami up two spots. Southern California moved up to No. 7 with AP voters and No. 8 with the coaches after its impressive beating of Stanford on The Farm. While Washington State is officially receiving votes — 29 votes in the coaches poll and 30 points in the AP.

Oregon State also earned some votes in the coaches poll (24) and points in the AP (42). Washington also nabbed three votes in the coaches poll too — side note: the fuck?

Note: bolded teams are in the Pac-12
